Colorado Springs, CO
Another proud 4 Wheel Parts store is the Colorado Springs store that opened its doors back in 2001. The store is lead by Manager, Ray Sommers, and Assistant Manager, Scott Courter.
Their crew of 10 has a combined 68 years of automotive experience and are available to serve their customers. The service department has over 44 years of automotive service experience and is headed by Pat McCafferty.

Team Member — Ray Sommers
Ray joined the 4 Wheel Parts family in 2000. He started with the company as the shop foreman and a short time later, moved up to the assistant manager’s position.
It wasn’t long after that when his drive and efforts paid off and he was promoted to Store Manager, where he remains today. Ray also worked at the Denver store for a few months while the Colorado Springs store was being built.
Ray has had several project vehicles in the past, including a VW Baja bug, show Jeeps and even a XRRA rig. He is currently building a new XRRA single seater rig for some serious rock crawling and a 1978 CJ-7, frame up, restoration job he hopes to have done in the near future.
During his off time, Ray enjoys spending time with his family out on the lake wakeboarding and fishing. He and the family also enjoy some serious rock crawling.
Team Member — Patrick McCafferty
Patrick “Pat” McCafferty is the Service Manager in Colorado Springs. He came on board in 2001 as a service technician and has worked his way up to the service manager position.
He’s very proud of his crew’s “safety first” attitude towards taking care of their customers’ installation needs making sure it’s done right the first time. Pat enjoys 4 wheelin’, camping, fishing and ATVing with his family. Pat has been married for over seven years and has three children.
On the weekends when he is not working around the house, Pat and his family head out for some quality time in such places like: Taylor Reservation, Tarryall reservoir and even out to Moab, Utah. Pat has been wheelin’ in the hills of Colorado for over 15 years and he has no intention of stopping.
Pat’s projects have included a 1983 CJ-7, with a Chevy 350 motor, 465/205 tranny, a Dana 60 front and a 14-bolt in the rear with 488 gears and Detroit lockers; all sitting on 39.5 IROK meats. When not working on his Jeep, Pat also collects and restores early ’80s BMX bikes.
