CRUSHERS TRAIL OF THE TILLAMOOK STATE FOREST RECEIVES SPECIAL GRANT FROM BFG®

The Crushers Trail, located in the Coast Range mountains of northwest Oregon in the Tillamook State Forest, was honored by BFGoodrich® Tires as one of the 2007 Outstanding Trails. Club members and off-road enthusiasts were in attendance as BFGoodrich Tires presented a grant to Raven Off- Road OHV club, which will be used to preserve the trail and continue conservation efforts for one of America’s best areas for off-roading.

BFG in conjunction with Tread Lightly!® and United Four Wheel Drive Associations, chose Crushers because of its particularly rocky, steep and rugged terrain. It is a naturally formed boulder field and is the only trail in the Tillamook State Forest that is nothing but rock terrain. The trail is perfectly suited for the off-roader who is always up for a challenge.

Raven pursues the interest of the OHV community in a new way. It’s based on the love of the OHV experience regardless of the type of vehicle enthusiasts choose to off-road with. Members pride themselves on giving back to the community that they live in by donating time and funds to help clean up dump sites and adopt families and community areas. Raven is a family driven club, always remembering that today’s child is tomorrow’s future, and by teaching them now, they are preserving the way of life for generations to come.
